Amanda Heinz graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a B.S. in Psychology and earned her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University. Amanda has been actively involved in the health and wellness community for over 4 years, working as a personal trainer, group fitness and spin instructor at the Wilton YMCA.  

Amanda played field hockey at the Division 1 level and ever since has been very active in the coaching and training of up and coming athletes. Currently, she competes in sprint triathlons and completed her first marathon in May 2010. When not involved in races, Amanda enjoys skiing, playing field hockey and spending time with her new husband, Justin.
